The Mountbatten Leisure Centre is set in the heart of Portsmouth, adjacent to Portsmouth’s northern shore. The modern centre is the city’s premier sports facility, offering an impressive 50m swimming pool, sports hall, squash courts, 150 station gym, function suite, and an onsite café. The Leisure Centre has a long reputation for hosting a wide variety of national and international sporting events.
TRICEL SOLUTION
Our client’s major problem was the that the Sports Centre only had a small window of opportunity to install these Booster sets and we had to get these sets delivered to site within a week.
Working closely together with our partners over at Grundfos who offer a FastTrack Build on certain ranges of the Booster set portfolio, Grundfos and Tricel operated conjunctively to build and test both boosters sets and deliver to site within a minimal lead time, thus enabling our client to maintain their planned installation scheduling. Tricel’s highly trained technical team then attended site to commission both booster sets.

Tricel booster sets are designed to deliver constant water pressure at variable flow demands. We provide WRAS listed booster pumps for potable water applications. A booster set is often used to improve the water pressure and flow in buildings where there is insufficient pressure available or water storage is required. Booster pumps work like a fan with blades that spin to boost the water pressure movement. A water booster pump, like the ones that we fitted in Mountbatten Leisure Centre, is designed to boost performance automatically. Are used in a variety of applications from domestic to Rainwater Harvesting systems to commercial buildings.
