The Challenge
Frilford Heath Golf Club, renowned for its pristine fairways and immaculate greens, was experiencing difficulties in efficiently meeting its irrigation needs. The club needed a reliable and effective method to manage water resources, particularly during peak usage periods, to ensure the golf course remained in optimal condition throughout the year.

To address these challenges, Frilford Heath Golf Club enlisted Agripower Ltd as the main contractor, with PS & DE Graham as the irrigation contractor. Tricel supplied the essential components for the solution by providing a new reservoir transfer pump system. The system was designed to enhance water management across the golf course. Tricel supplied two Caprari KCM150LD+010542N3/D effluent submersible pumps, chosen for their efficiency and reliability in handling large volumes of water. These pumps were tasked with delivering a duty of 125 cubic meters per hour at a head of 14 meters, ensuring consistent and effective water transfer from the reservoir to the irrigation system.
THE FINAL RESULT
The implementation of the new reservoir transfer pump system resulted in significant improvements in the irrigation capabilities of Frilford Heath Golf Club. The upgraded system provided a more reliable and efficient method of water distribution, leading to enhanced course conditions and reduced maintenance efforts.
