Grundfos Magna Pumps
MAGNA circulators as manufactured by Grundfos were expected to change hearts and minds when they were introduced in 2001 because of their highly efficient design, permanent magnet motor and unrivalled functionality.
The now award-winning MAGNA1 and MAGNA3 families have become the top choice for various light commercial and commercial applications, including servicing heating and cooling demands, ground source and solar heating systems and domestic water systems.
Even though MAGNA pumps have sold in the millions, the company hasn’t rested on its laurels, and the range has continued to evolve:
To provide more advanced operation, MAGNA3 pumps can be configured to adapt to changes in flow and pressure requirements based on live system conditions – all from it’s digital display or via a compatible BMS system. This makes it ideal for brand new plantrooms where efficiency and reliability in meeting demand are essential.
Grundfos Circulator Pumps
The MAGNA1 is a great solution in refurbishment situations where it’s less advanced predecessors such as the Grundfos UPS pumps or one of the smaller models from the original MAGNA series of products need to be replaced. As such the MAGNA1 provides a perfect replacement in plantroom refurbishments without any unnecessary features, whilst still offering the right amount of functionality.
Both MAGNA1 & MAGNA3 Pumps can be monitored at all times via the highly intuitive user interface or can be remotely monitored through a variety of available BMS protocols.
The extremely popular twin head MAGNA1 and MAGNA 3 models offer pump head redundancy to ensure downtime is minimised in the event of head failure – offering the end user total peace of mind. Each pump head can either be configured via the user interface located conveniently at the front face of the control box, or totally wirelessly via the GRUNDFOS GO app available for both Apple and Android devices.
Smaller modes within the MAGNA1 & MAGNA3 range are available with full WRAS certification making them compliant with drinking water requirements, but with all the innovation (and much, much more!) of the modern heating circulator.
